Monkey House Toys is one of my fav spots to head out to in Silverlake. If you love art, toys, feeling like a kid again, and tons of creativity, you have to come on over and get your shop on. The store holds amazing art shows by upcoming & big artists in the LA area. I was lucky enough to purchase a piece at the store by one of my fav artist, Cache.
Mayra, the owner of the store was awesome enough to let me shoot her son, MAX. This kid is a ball of energy with super skills on the razor, breakdancing, stop-motion robot moves. He’s a free spirit, so it was so easy to catch his character through my eyes.
Cache’s sick artwork is on the side of the store. I love it!
