So with the new identity of the wedding site, I wanted to introduce the new branding of my logo. I love design, but creating logos is definitely not something I specialize in. For this, I went to my good friend Abel, who created for me a new sleek vision for the company. For me, it’s also versatile which is what I love. I’m going to be releasing a commercial site this year, and I felt like this logo was definitely universal in representing both avenues of the photography.
Branding is going to be huge for me this year. I’ve definitely been thinking about why we love brand names, and what draws us to them. People want a brand that other people are raving about. They want a brand that they can trust and a label that has style. Everything has to be on the same page now from the logo, business cards, website, and even more important, your work. I’m excited for all the new challenges ahead.
If I had to give advice to other fellow photographers, it would be to definitely hire out a graphic designer to help you clean up your vision. You’ll be spending money, but it’s always about the bigger picture.
